Review: Hexbound

Hexbound Hexbound by Bec McMaster
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Picking up a few weeks after the events of Shadowbound, we find brooding assassin, 7th level Sorcerer Adrian Bishop being robbed of a powerful dark relic in the middle of the night by a thief with unusual talents. Double crossed by the client, Verity Hawkins (listed as Hastings in the blurb) is forced to work with the very person she should fear.

This was Adrian's story and it was awesome. I can take or leave Verity, as she really was basically a side character for Adrian's journey, even though she was the heroine and love interest. Adrian is that much a force here and I loved every minute of it.
