Review: Vox

Vox Vox by Christina Dalcher
My rating: 1 of 5 stars

It's a mashup of other dystopian novels that I adored - Handmaid's Tale, Native Tongue, etc. - but I didn't enjoy it as much. I can't really explain why, other than the main character wasn't written as the powerhouse she was supposed to be. A lot of things fell flat for me, honestly; but the entire premise hangs on the main character and she was a complete letdown.
