Carolina Moon by Nora Roberts My rating: 3 of 5 stars Called it. View all my reviews

Review: Children of the White Star

Children of the White Star by Linda Thackeray My rating: 3 of 5 stars I liked what the story wanted to be more than what it actually is. If that makes any sense at all. View all my reviews

Review: The Reef

The Reef by Nora Roberts My rating: 2 of 5 stars Not the best, but not the worst either. It's rare that I dislike both leading characters in a NR book, but it happens. I enjoyed every word that wasn't about Tate and Matthew's wack relationship. View all my reviews

Review: Birthright

Birthright by Nora Roberts My rating: 5 of 5 stars The Witness is still my favorite Nora Roberts' book, but this is a very close second. And the little mention of Kinsey Millhone (Sue Grafton's heroine) and Ripley from the Aliens franchise gave my fangirl heart a flutter. Sue Grafton is missed. View all my reviews

Review: The Night Before

The Night Before by Wendy Walker My rating: 1 of 5 stars I did not enjoy this at all. From the prose, which managed to be fast-paced yet incredibly dry, to the characters and their foolish behavior, and down to the big trope that tied it all together, I did not enjoy any of it. At all. View all my reviews

Review: Kiss From a Rose: An Interracial Romance

Kiss From a Rose: An Interracial Romance by Bella Fontaine My rating: 3 of 5 stars Interracial A to Z Challenge: K Fun. Just a fun, silly, sometimes dark but you know there's going to be a HEA good time. View all my reviews

Review: Spellbound

Spellbound by Nora Roberts My rating: 3 of 5 stars Short and sweet. Pretty much your standard Cailleach (Celtic witch) lore that you'd expect from La Nora. Definitely makes me want to finish the O'Dwyer's trilogy and the Donovan Legacy (even though I the two leads that started the series annoyed me to death). View all my reviews
