Review: The 7½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle

The 7½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton My rating: 5 of 5 stars #PopsugarReadingChallenge 2019 Prompt - A book revolving around a puzzle or game This was amazing. It's absolutely a story that you have to jump into blindly and experience. It's worth it, trust me. View all my reviews

Review: Connections in Death

Connections in Death by J.D. Robb My rating: 5 of 5 stars #PopsugarReadingChallenge2019 Prompt - A book that's published in 2019 One of the best in the series. Honestly, there's nothing that I can say about this book that I haven't said about others in the series in regards to the writing, friendships, and character growth (both individual and pairings). It's all still here and it's all still done very well. All of the reasons you stick with a long series (and this is book 59 if you count the half-numbered novellas) make this book great. Review: Yuki's Luck

Yuki's Luck by Ja'Nese Dixon My rating: 3 of 5 stars Interracial Romance A to Z Challenge: Y This was a very quick read. Too quick, actually. I feel like there's a lot missing that would have made this a complete story. As it is, it feels unfinished and I'm not sure that I want to read the sequels. It was cute, though. A little confusing in some parts, but cute. View all my reviews

Review: Lone Star

Lone Star by Josh Lanyon My rating: 5 of 5 stars #PopsugarReadingChallenge2019 Prompt - Read a book during the season it is set in: Winter. Book takes place during the Christmas holiday. I love a second-chance romance. I love a second-chance romance novel when both LIs are mature enough to admit what might have been their fault in why the relationship didn't work the first time around and are strong enough to work for it the second time. Review: Enforced Love: BWWM Second Chance Romance

Enforced Love: BWWM Second Chance Romance by Niya James My rating: 2 of 5 stars As mafia romances go, this was pretty standard. It was also kind of boring. And by "kind of" , I mean very; there was no doubt in my mind about how this would play out. View all my reviews
